We care for dogs, cats and a variety of small pets at our spacious, purpose built small animal veterinary hospital in Shedfield. Our fully equipped purpose built equine unit, adjacent to the hospital, caters for all the needs of horses and ponies.

Animed Veterinary Hospital is the only RCVS registered veterinary hospital in the Fareham area. The hospital is open, by appointment, 24-hours a day 365 days of the year with the MiNightVet team dedicated to caring for any animal emergencies out of hours.

We cover the south Hampshire area from Romsey across to Chichester with branches in Cowplain, Hedge End and Locksheath. Surgical, hospital facilities and out of hours cover for pet animals are centralised at Shedfield Veterinary Hospital to maximise the breadth and depth of care we can provide for our clients and their pets.

A purpose built small animal hospital and equine unit was completed at Shedfield in 2003 offering excellent state of the art facilities for your animal.

We are a registered RCVS Small Animal Veterinary Hospital, all in-patients receive 24-hour nursing support and care from our on-site nurses. There is a purpose built equine diagnostic and hospitalisation unit built into the south of the hospital. Animed Veterinary Hospital is also a registered veterinary nurse training centre.

Animed Veterinary Group was acquired by CVS (UK) Limited in 2008 and now operates as part of this larger group of veterinary practices and veterinary service providers.
