Cruciate ligament rupture is the most common cause of hind limb pain and lameness in dogs, but not all patients require the same treatment.
There are many options available for cruciate surgery, and at Animed Veterinary Group we tailor the treatment necessary to your pet’s individual needs.
Pre-operative assessment, surgery and post-operative care are all performed by our highly experienced small animal surgery certificate holders, clinical director Duncan Greeff BVetMed CertAVP(GSAS) MRCVS and veterinary surgeon Marc Worley BVSc CertAVP(GSAS) MRCVS. They are based at our RCVS accredited veterinary hospital providing 24-hour care for your pet.
Procedures we offer include:
- Tibial Tuberosity advancement (TTA)
- Cranial closing Wedge osteotomy (CCWO) / Tibial platea leveling osteotomy (TPLO)
- Lateral suture (for dogs under 15kg and cats)
If you would like to know more about the options available to your pet, or to book a consultation, please contact Duncan or Marc on 01329 833122 or complete the online referral form.
